YES! (Youth Education Success)

  • Provides a safe, comfortable place in the Acre neighborhood where kids can complete homework and receive extra help from qualified tutors.

  • Hands-on enrichment opportunities like cooking classes, computer coding and civil engineering, age-appropriate financial education, and arts & crafts that foster creativity, teach practical skills and boost confidence. Plus plenty of free play at the Moody Street Playground!

YES! Teen

  • Workshops for Acre teens include:

    • MCAS prep

    • Exploration and practical support of college and career options

    • Social Emotional Learning/Self-Care

    • Multi-media art

Parent University

  • A 6-week family engagement workshop for Acre residents

  • Select topics include:

    • parents’ rights,

    • school-home communication,

    • school registration and systems

    • emotional development in children

  • Parent University is offered in partnership with UMass Lowell and created by Professor Phitsamay Uy.
